You don’t know what you’ve got until something as awesome as the Nitro Circus grabs onto it and makes it a Thing.* They are now www.NitroCircus.LIVE and during their Nitro World Games they had over 1 million views on their livestream globally.
*Regular noun thing:
*Proper noun italicized bold-faced Thing:
There are plenty of .LIVE websites out there and they are amazing. Joe Rogan (the comedian and host of Fear Factor) uses one for his live YouTube show. The rappers Redman and Method Man are on tour and using a .LIVE. The really funny Vine guy, Thomas Sanders, he uses a .LIVE domain name. They are popping up everywhere. A .LIVE domain even sold for six figures. But it’s not often that we get to sidle up to one of their live shows and see the production that has become the fastest growing action sports brand (bigger than the X Games.)
There we were, about 40 feet from Tony Hawk with the NBC cameras lighting up for a national broadcast and thinking, this is it … this is .LIVE.
Back at the Nitro World Games we watched insane stunts and hoped .LIVE also means /liv/ and on this day everybody did, as they typically do. Because these people practice, practice practice and perfect their practice some more before they go on the national stage and go .LIVE.
