Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes things happen and you may want to make a change with a purchase you made with us. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so whenever possible, and at our sole discretion, we will refund you. Although these guidelines apply to most of our products, they may not apply to your specific case. Please refer to our Registration Agreement for more details. Please note that refunds will be issued in the currency in which they were paid.
For security reasons, we cannot issue refunds over chat, phone, or email. If you would like to cancel and refund a product, you can locate the refund option on the right-hand side of your order statements, in your order history. If you have any trouble locating your order history or the refund option, please contact Name.com Support.
Here's the list of products and the corresponding time periods during which you can receive a refund:
Domain names:
Most domain name purchases can be refunded within the first five (5) days of purchase, provided that we remove the domain from your possession and return it to the registry (which means it will then be available for purchase). Domain name renewals are never refundable. Bulk domain name deletions made during the initial five (5) day registration period may be non-refundable if the number of domain names impacted exceeds the allowable limits under ICANN’s Add-Grace Period Limits Policy. The ICANN Fee, if charged at the time of registration, will be refunded only where the domain name is also refunded.
Domain name purchases in the following domains, however, are exceptions to the five (5) day rule. To confirm, domain names purchase in any other top-level domain cannot be refunded after five (5) days:
.CA - Refundable within four (4) days of purchase.
.COM.MX - Refundable within forty-five (45) days of purchase.
.CO.UK - Refunds are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
.ME.UK - Refunds are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
.MX - Refundable within forty-five (45) days of purchase.
.ORG.UK - Refunds are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
.UK - Refunds are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
Domain name purchases in the following TLDs are never refundable:
.AM
.AT
.BE
.CH
.CZ
.DE
.DK
.ES
.EU
.FM
.FR
.GS
.IO
.IT
.JP
.NL
.NZ
.CO.NZ
.NET.NZ
.ORG.NZ
.PL
.RU
.SE
.SO
Advanced Security: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
Backorders: Due to the short turn around period of backorders we are no longer able to offer refunds for backorders.
BL.INK Branded URL Shortener: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
Bundles: If a refund is requested for one or more of the items included in the bundle the entire bundle must be refunded. We cannot refund a bundle partially. The request for a bundle refund must be submitted within five (5) days of purchase.
DigitalOcean Cloud Hosting: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
Expiring Domain Names: We are not able to refund expiring domain names.
EAP (Early Access Program): We are not able to cancel, nor refund EAPs.
Google Workspace/G Suite: We are not able to refund Google Workspace/G Suite. Google Workspace services can only be downgraded at time of renewal or expiration of the product.
Name.com Email: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
One-Page Website: Can be refunded within the first five (5) days of purchase. If purchased as a package with a domain, the entire package will be removed, and the domain deleted.
Pre-Registrations: We are not able to cancel, nor refund pre-registrations.
Premium Domain Names: Refunds are not permitted with premium domain names.
Redemption: This fee goes to the registry and therefore it is non-refundable.
SEO Tutor: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
Sitelock: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
SSL Certificates: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
Titan Email: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.
Transfers: Transfers are refundable as long as the transfer has not completed. They are non-refundable once the transfer has completed.
Web Hosting: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of initial purchase. If you received a free domain with your hosting plan, you will be refunded the cost of the hosting minus the cost of the domain. Upgrades to Web Hosting are never refundable.
Website Builder: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of initial purchase. Upgrades to Website Builder are never refundable.
Wix: Any Wix package not purchased as part of a product bundle can be refunded for fourteen (14) days after purchase. Upgrades to Wix are never refundable.
Wix Yearly Package Bundle (yearly Wix plan + Google Workspace + domain name): Any of the individual components of the Wix Yearly Package Bundle (Wix Package, Google Workspace, and/or domain name credit) or the entire bundle can be returned and refunded within the first five (5) days of purchase, though no refund will be issued for returns of products included in the bundle at no additional cost. If a refund is requested only on the Wix Yearly Package and not the other components of the Bundle, the cost of the other components will be withheld from the refund amount. From five (5) days after purchase and up to fourteen (14) days after purchase, you may request a refund on either the purchased Wix package or Google Workspace, or both, for a full refund of the purchase price; however, the cost of the domain name included in the package is no longer refundable and will be withheld from the refund amount. If a refund is only for the Wix Package, the cost of Google Workspace will be withheld from the refund amount. No refunds will be issued for any portion of the Wix Yearly Package Bundle after fourteen (14) days.
WordPress Hosting: Can be refunded within the first thirty (30) days of initial purchase.
