In most cases, when you transfer a domain name to Name.com it adds one year to the expiration date. However, if you renewed the domain name within 45 days of the transfer, then one year is not added.
Since this is an ICANN rule and not a Name.com one, we cannot override it.
If you did renew within the last 45 days, you would need to contact your previous registrar and ask them to issue you a refund for the renewal.
