Transferring .CO.UK, .ORG.UK and .UK domains works slightly differently than most domain transfers. You would not go through the conventional transfer flow, using transfer codes, but instead .CO.UK, .ORG.UK and .UK use IPS Tags.
You will first need to contact your current registrar and ask them to change the domain’s IPS Tag to Name.com’s tag:
NAME-COM
Once they have changed it, please submit a ticket, and let us know the domain name that you are transferring, so that we can place it in your account.
Note: The transfer of.CO.UK, .ORG.UK and .UK domains is free of charge, but does not include a renewal of the domain name.
For transfers away from Name.com, please ask your current registrar what their IPS tag is. Then submit a ticket with your domain name and IPS tag so we can make that change for you. The request for the IPS tag change must come from the email on file for that domain listed with Nominet at the registry level, not the email address in your Name.com account. To update the contact information for a .CO.UK and .UK domains, log into the Nominet Online Service Center where you can make the changes yourself.
