Disabling Whois Privacy

For a number of reasons, you may wish to disable Whois Privacy on your domain. You can disable Whois Privacy by following the instructions below:

  1. Log into your Name.com account.
  2. Click on the MY DOMAINS link, located on the top right of the navigation.
  3. Click on the specific domain name you'd like to disable Whois Privacy for.
  4. Under Whois Privacy you can toggle the button to off to disable the privacy.

Once you have disabled Whois Privacy, your unmasked contact information will show on in Whois lookup searches. It may take up to 15 minutes for the updated information to be reflected.
